What our clients say

The Trust and Track Institute works side-by-side with organizations in a variety of high-challenge industries to create positive work environments that engage and inspire. We’re dedicated to helping the leaders and entrepreneurs we work with achieve tangible results—led by someone who has faced their challenges.

“Nick’s title could be Chief Story Teller! By being authentic and vulnerable, the stories and experiences he shares are truly inspiring and thought-provoking. Equally important, he backs up the stories with simple and actionable ways to move forward. The business owners and teams attending Aileron’s LIFT summit walked away with new ideas to evolve their culture, develop their people, and improve their leadership.”

Nicole Luisi, Aileron

“Nick brought passion to a whole new level while telling his story at Summer Brand Camp. He delivered a unique and heart felt message that left the audience with actionable items to take back and implement at their own organizations. Attendees were touched and motivated by his story and talked about it for weeks after the event! Nick would be a great addition to any speaker line up.”

Sarah Atkinson, Director of Marketing, People Report & Black Box Intelligence

“Nick did a wonderful job with the group. He was engaging, passionate, and direct.  People really walked away with great direction and validation.  Nick is a true Entrepreneur!  THANK YOU!”

Jarrod Lopiccolo, Executive Director, Inc. Business Owners Council

“Using Nick’s leadership tools, we transformed how we work together and communicate. Teamwork, collaboration, and little to no drama, have made us more efficient and the best part is that we are all having more fun than ever.”

Mark Mitchell, Lifetime member of State Farm’s Presidents Club

“[Nick] quickly connected with our leaders through his genuine and powerful storytelling style. Nick provided practical, relevant and thought-provoking tools. In addition, Nick shared with our leaders his proven methods to improve team retention, productivity and customer service. Most gratifying was to hear from a number of our leaders having implemented those tools within their teams.”

Cynthia Riehman, Director Leadership & Organizational Development, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago

“Thank you again for speaking at the Stericycle Leadership Summit... You were anecdotally mentioned many times as one of the best sessions of the event! Everyone loved your shift feedback tool as well.”

Ashton Phillips-Adair, Communications Specialist & Coordinator, Stericycle

“Nick was great. I received nothing but positive comments from the attendees. He delivered exactly what I wanted.”

David Hancock, Director of Business Resources, Sysco Central Illinois

“Nick was a great dynamic speaker; very relevant to our industry. Walking away from this with amazing ideas to bring back to my club. Thank you!”

Scott E. Irwin, CCM, CCE, General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Lancaster Country Club

“What made Nick relate to our audience of family business owners so well was that he had “been there, done that.”  Add to that his genuine care and concern for his audience and his keynote was a complete home run. One CEO told me that after hearing Nick's presentation he realized more than getting his top leaders ready for succession, he needed to change the culture in his company. That was a huge for him!”

Betsi Bixby, President, Meridian Associates

“AWARENESS - That's how I am going to describe my learnings.

I had this trouble that whenever someone makes a comment, I should too. Or if someone says something, I should too without noticing the words that I use which had greatly affected my relationship towards others without me knowing that I was harming them in the way I speak unconsciously. The safe space training had taught me so much mindfulness in and out of work. I really stop and think and analyze before I say a word, and think on what kind of impact I would like to bring in. I began witnessing my unconscious statements. And the more conscious I became the more I started to take responsibility for my words and how they were making me feel and the people around me.

What I've owned out of all elements was the intention and impact. English was not my first language, moving here is quite a bumpy ride. Expressing my own was hard before because it was always portrayed differently even I if tried my best. Getting this knowledge and understanding the intention and impact had me become more direct on what I would like to say, avoiding the unnecessary words around it. Made me feel more confident as well in making my statements just because I would directly define what I my intention is.”

Jia Remonte, Manager of Culture and Leadership Development, Pacific Aviation

“I appreciate your simple, yet profound, approach to human relations and business.”

Paul Martineau, Director, Employers Association of the North East (EANE)

“Nick was a pleasure to work with...It was refreshing to see his approach and how he as a business owner uses the material in his business every day; and, real life examples of how these cultural principles can effect change and success... Within 30 minutes of the close of our second day, I had employees utilizing and embracing the tools we had learned. I look forward to leading my team through the transformation this will have on our culture and our business.”

Ryan Doerr, General Manager, River Club of Mequon

“I love the whole idea of 'conscious communication'. It turns the simple act of saying words into a purposeful and meaningful exercise through which I am more aware of how it specificity matters.

My heightened awareness of intention/impact has been huge for me. I've gained a strong sense of how important it is to be proactive in communicating. My alertness to 'meaning-making' has helped me avoid relying on assumptions. I think 'coaching in the moment' is really where the rubber meets the road. I've chosen to embrace that as our ultimate goal where we can utilize all of these new communication tools. We've decided that the way for us to get the most use of these tools will be to teach Miick's Safe Space to every employee at every level. Our supervisors will be taught the other tools in order to begin moving toward a culture of coaching in the moment. I'm looking forward to reaching this stage as it will include the 'Fish bowl' exercise, which I feel is very powerful.

The common language we now all share has been one of the most obvious benefits to our improved internal communication. A great result from the purpose workshop was that it legitimized our purpose as belonging to the organization by getting everyone to buy-in.”
